Felix DeHerrera is the Chair of NAHREP. Felix has been involved with NAHREP almost since its inception and started the very first NAHREP affiliate chapter in Las Vegas in July 2000.

DeHerrera first received his real estate license in 1978 and has had brokers licenses in Colorado, Arizona and Nevada. He owns both a real estate office and a mortgage brokerage in Las Vegas. His corporation, Realty Marketing Associates, is a 51 percent owner of Southwest Alliance. Based in Austin, Texas, Southwest Alliance, is the Management and Marketing Contractor for HUD for the states of Texas and New Mexico. Southwest Alliance is the first Hispanic Majority Owned M & M Contractor for HUD and has more than 100 employees. Southwest Alliance's commitment to minority and small business is evidenced by listing contracts with eleven Hispanic brokers, four African American brokers, plus seven additional brokers that are either woman owned or small business owners to list the HUD homes. Additionally, Southwest Alliance contracts with 100's of minority and small businesses to inspect, appraise, and maintain the properties until sold.
