The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) has named Jason Riveiro as chief marketing officer, bringing more than 10 years of experience in leading multinational strategic initiatives for some of the most recognized Fortune 500 companies on both the agency and client side. Prior to joining NAHREP, he was responsible for launching multicultural marketing departments at Big Lots, North America’s largest broadline closeout retailer and for the nation’s largest specialty retailer of paint and painting supplies, The Sherwin-Williams Co.

“NAHREP is the leading organization in Latino real estate matters and is rapidly increasing its membership and influence,” said Riveiro, “I couldn’t be more excited to be joining at this time and be part of a team that will make history.”

Riveiro’s history with non-profit organizations serving the Hispanic community began with the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) from which he is a former scholarship recipient. He grew his involvement with LULAC ultimately serving as the organization’s Ohio State Director where he helped raise nearly $1MM in program funding. He additionally spearheaded an effort to bring the LULAC National Convention to Cincinnati, Ohio bringing with it over 19,000 attendees and $3MM in revenue to the city.

“Jason’s marketing expertise coupled with his background working non-profits that serve the Hispanic community make him uniquely qualified to serve as NAHREP’s CMO,” said Gary Acosta, NAHREP co-founder and CEO, “We know he will offer strategic input to improve NAHREP’s market reach and differentiate us as a front-runner in financial empowerment and Hispanic homeownership.”
