After recognizing the need for more educational content geared toward mortgage loan originators, NAHREP decided to implement an entire day specifically dedicated to their education and growth. Every year, one day prior to the start of the national convention, NAHREP hosts the Elevate Mortgage Summit. This year, Elevate engaged with industry executives from a plethora of corporations that were eager to share their expertise with attendees.
Elevate provided direct access to the knowledge used from top producers within the housing community. Speeches from industry executives like David Kittle, Vice Chairman & President of The Mortgage Collaborative, Danny Morel, CEO of Intero Real Estate Services Southern California, and Rene Rodriguez, CEO of Volentum provided a lens into the direct practices and beliefs from some of the most successful executives in the industry. Panels from Elevate also consisted of top producers from the Top 250 Latino Mortgage Originators and Top 250 Latino Real Estate Agents, who were eager to share their secrets of success. A few of the panel participants included Alex Varela, the #1 Latino Mortgage Originator in the nation, Leo Pareja, 2017 NAHREP President, CEO of Remine and the 2010 #1 Keller Williams Agent in the U.S. & Canada, and Jesus Neri, Senior Loan Officer at Alterra Home Loans.
To conclude the day-long educational training NAHREP welcomed Army Veteran, former NFL player, and Purple Heart recipient Daniel Rodriguez as our keynote speaker. Rodriguez moved the crowd with stories of war, loss, and resilience. In a powerful presentation, attendees were elated to find hope at the end of a dark tunnel that was plagued by PTSD and lingering memories. The presentation was a reminder to us all about the sacrifices of our military and the human ability to persevere through it all.
