NAHREP Chicago hosted its 8th Annual Success in Real Estate Conference on May 2, 2019. The chapter kicked the day off with a presentation from local improv comedy company Second City Improv, which shared tips with the audience for overcoming the common fears of selling and public speaking. It was a huge honor to have CEO of Martin Cabrera Markets and Chairman of City of Chicago Planning Commission Martin Cabrera Jr. and Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation Real Estate Division Director Mario Treto Jr. engage in a fireside chat with Camilo Rodriguez Escalante. Attendees learned a lot from the discussion, which focused on the role real estate plays in closing the wealth gap between Latinos and non-Hispanic Whites. The conference also incorporated many cultural elements such as an art show, live samba performances, live music, and more.
