2024 NAHREP Top 250 Latino Mortgage Originators Methodology

The Top 250 Latino Mortgage Originators is compiled through a self-nomination process based on residential loans closed during the previous calendar year. Nominations for the award open in January 1, 2024 and close February 29, 2024. Mortgage originators are encouraged to nominate themselves and any deserving colleagues. To be eligible, nominees are required to submit their personal number of closed mortgages to be ranked against other nominees.

Nominations may be disqualified or modified where third-party validation is not available or consistent. In instances where there is a tie based on number of mortgages closed, higher rank is given to originators with greater sales volume. Ethnic background is confirmed through self-attestation.

An individual is defined as a mortgage professional who closes transactions under their name per URLA. Please note that if a mortgage professional considers themselves as part of a team, yet closes their transactions in their own name they are eligible to submit themselves as an individual mortgage originator.
