Why did you want to start a local chapter in your area?
I wanted to start a chapter because there is so much power in the Hispanic community and there is no official platform or Hispanic representation for either clients or real estate agents in Indianapolis. The number of Hispanic realtors and Loan officers has grown enormously a NAHREP chapter is needed to help empower us as professionals to better serve our Hispanic clients. Having a Nahrep chapter will encourage all real estate professionals to stay committed to serving and like a domino effect, this will result in more successful stories of sustainable home ownership.

Name 1-3 professional goals for your chapter!
1. Membership Growth Growth - Aim to recruit a diverse and engaged membership base. Focus on attracting real estate professionals from various backgrounds to foster a rich and inclusive network within the Louisville chapter.
2. Educational Programs - Develop and host a series of educational programs and workshops tailored to the specific needs and interests of your local members. These programs could cover topics such as market trends, professional development, and community engagement.
3. Community Impact - Establish a strong presence in the Louisville community through philanthropic initiatives and community service. Strive to make a positive impact by giving back and showcasing the chapter's commitment to social responsibility.
These goals align with building a strong foundation for our NAHREP Louisville Chapter in its inaugural year, emphasizing growth, education, and community engagement.

What advice would you give to a future team that wishes to start a local chapter?
Be patient with each other. I think one of the biggest challenges in starting a local chapter is managing all the different personalities in a group this large and this motivated. It's so important that in the time we spend together that we are all pulling in the same direction so that we are as effective as possible. I think its also important to be open minded and listen to the feedback and suggestions of all Board Members.
