Radian Guaranty was a key participant in this year’s NAHREP national convention, co-sponsoring the Elevate Sales Summit alongside Freddie Mac. In a fireside chat opening the summit, Radian’s Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Franchise Officer Brien McMahon talked with NAHREP Co-Founder & CEO Gary Acosta about recent increases in Hispanic homeownership levels.
“The housing industry is in the midst of a transformational moment, and the growth of Hispanic homeownership is a central part of that,” McMahon said. “At Radian, we work every day to help more people achieve the dream of homeownership.”
The Elevate Sales Summit is a training program designed for professionals in the industry to grow their business through sales strategies, marketing tools and expertise, peer‐to‐peer mentorship, and inspirational keynotes. The summit plays a key role in furthering the NAHREP’s mission by empowering participants to take their businesses to the next level of success, increasing representation in the industry.
In addition to McMahon’s fireside chat, Radian was represented throughout other parts of the event, including participants for the panel, “How Technology Will Define the Industry,” and on another panel regarding the outlook for mortgage financing.
“We’re proud to partner with [NAHREP] in their role as the lead advocate and champion for homeownership for the Hispanic community,” McMahon said.
Since the inception of their partnership in 2013, Radian and NAHREP have worked together to ensure that Latinos nationwide have the necessary information, tools and resources to make the right housing choices. Both have grown significantly, with Radian’s expansion and innovation in areas including title and residential data and brokerage services and NAHREP’s skyrocketing growth to 100 chapters.
“Breaking new ground, doing things differently, in a way that incorporates the community, has always been [NAHREP’s] theme, and we’re delighted to be partnering with [Radian] in that regard,” said Acosta.
