NAHREP will be testifying in front of the House Financial Services, Subcommittee on Housing, Community Development and Insurance Wednesday, May 8, 2019 to discuss the state of and barriers to minority homeownership.
2016 President Joseph Nery in his testimony will highlight the trends in Hispanic homeownership growth and ways in which the mortgage industry could better serve Hispanic borrowers. NAHREP believes every individual who desires to become a homeowner and can sustain a mortgage, should be granted access to homeownership. That is not the case today.
