What sparked your interest in the real estate profession? As a single mom, I wanted to provide a home for my daughter. My first experience with a realtor was not positive. She told me that with my budget, we wouldn’t be able to find a house. A second realtor worked with our budget and helped us find an affordable home that met our needs. I returned to that realtor to sell my home and buy our second. She became my trusted advisor and sparked my interest to explore how I could help make the dream of homeownership a reality for others.
What does homeownership mean to you?
Homeownership was the stepping stone for my family to move up and provided us security. The person who made my dreams come true was that realtor— she made home possible for us. This is one of the many reasons I am excited to join Freddie Mac, a company committed to providing affordable lending and access to credit. They’re dedicated to connecting with real estate professionals to make the housing ecosystem thrive.
