The Hispanic Wealth Project: Wealth Building Strategies Symposium

Must purchase ticket to attend. Last year's State of Hispanic Wealth Report highlighted that Latinos increased their wealth by 63.6 percent between 2016-2019, the highest wealth increase of all demographics. While Latinos have been driving homeownership and entrepreneurial growth throughout the country, Latinos remain less diversified today than they were prior to the Great Recession. The HWP Symposium series will leverage the findings of the SHWR and offer strategies for building, growing and diversifying our wealth, meeting each of us where we are.
  • MC | Sara Rodriguez, Immediate Past President, CEO, Titan Title LLC

In fact, despite the tax advantages of investing in a retirement account, Latinos have the lowest retirement account participation rate in the country, which continues to trend down. At the same time, the wealthiest Americans have made more money through the stock market than in other way and understand the power of diversification. Learn how Latinos can break through the fears and unknowns of stock market investing.

Self-employed Latinos have a median net worth five times that of Latinos overall. Even further, self-employed Latinos with business equity (such as those who have business assets) have a net worth almost nine times the wealth of Latinos overall.
