Congratulations to 2018 NAHREP President Daisy Lopez-Cid on receiving RE/MAX and RISMedia’s “On the Shoulders of Giants” award! This award was presented November 2 at the National Association of REALTORS® Convention and goes to an individual whose efforts, works, deeds and character exemplify superior achievements in and for the real estate industry.
As NAHREP President, Daisy has facilitated the launch of new chapters in strategic markets, including Puerto Rico and Boston. In January, Lopez-Cid was named Humanitarian of the Year by the Oceola County Association of Realtors for her efforts in the wake of Hurricane Maria. After the hurricane devastated Puerto Rico, she spent two weeks there distributing food, water, medication, clothing and other essentials. This award is obviously well-deserved, and NAHREP is thankful for the talent and leadership of our “People’s President!”
