NAHREP is thrilled by the Supreme Court’s decision today to reverse the Justice Department’s termination of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. We must also ensure that DACA recipients eager to contribute to our economy are given the tools to continue doing so.

NAHREP holds the victims of the El Paso shooting and their families, community residents, and our NAHREP El Paso members in our hearts during this difficult time.
NAHREP has been monitoring the government’s activity at the border and communicating with policy makers. On Wednesday, President Trump signed an Executive Order officially changing the Administration’s policy, which now states an emphasis “to maintain family unity”. We reflect on this development with mixed emotion.
