Fannie Mae announced that Hugh Frater, Renee Glover and Michael Heid have been elected to the board of directors.
Heid recently retired as president of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
In addition to serving as president of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, he was executive vice president of Wells Fargo Home Lending, and co-president, chief financial officer and head of loan servicing.
Frater previously served as chairman and chief executive officer of Berkadia Commercial Mortgage.
He also served as chief operating officer of Good Energies Inc. and executive vice president at PNC Financial Services.
Glover is the founder and managing member of The Catalyst Group, a national consulting firm focused on urban revitalization, real estate development and community building, urban policy and business transformation.
She previously served as president and chief executive officer of the Atlanta Housing Authority and its affiliates.

The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals said that Silvia Perez-Rathell has joined the organization as its chief development officer.
In her new role, Perez-Rathell will lead corporate and government development efforts for the trade organization.
She spent the last seven years at League of United Latin American Citizens as the national senior director for federal and corporate relations.

Walker & Dunlop Inc. said that Stuart Wernick has joined its capital markets team as senior vice president and managing director.
Based out of the company’s Dallas office, Wernick will be responsible for building the regional production platform while arranging commercial real estate loans to banks, life insurance companies, CMBS conduits and other capital sources.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, he served as senior managing director at Berkadia Commercial Mortgage.

Greystone said that two directors, Don Farmer and Lou Tiberio, have been added to its origination team to boost regional mortgage lending production.
Farmer and Tiberio have joined the company in Irving, Texas, and Philadelphia, respectively, and bring over three decades of combined real estate finance experience and extensive banking relationships to Greystone.
As a 20-year veteran of the commercial real estate capital markets industry, Farmer was most recently a managing director of structured finance at Transwestern.
Tiberio joins from Investors Bank, where he was a vice president, and he brings over 12 years of commercial real estate experience within the banking and mortgage banking industries.

GMH Mortgage Services has appointed Joseph Nattans Jr. as president effective June 1.
Nattans recently served as GMH Mortgage’s senior vice president of national retail sales and has been with the company since 2010.
Former president and CEO of GMH Mortgage since 2012, Joseph Macchione, will remain active with the leadership of the company as a senior member of the GMH Mortgage Services Board, a GMH Associates company.

Spirit Realty Capital Inc. has hired Boyd Messmann as executive vice president and chief acquisitions officer.
Messmann will assume and fulfill a role starting June 20, previously served by Gregg Seibert, who has resigned from the company for personal reasons.
Messmann brings more than 20 years of experience in sourcing, lending and structuring transactions across all sectors in the triple net industry.
He most recently served as senior vice president, acquisitions at VEREIT.
