Annual Convention to Coincide with Inaugural Business & Media Event Featuring Star-Studded Lineup of Global Leaders, Activists

SAN DIEGO, Aug. 28, 2018 — An estimated 5000 Hispanic business owners, Fortune 500 company executives, influencers, and thought leaders will descend upon the Grand Hyatt in Downtown San Diego Sept. 8-11 to celebrate the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals’ 2018 National Convention, the association announced today.
The National Convention, sponsored by Quicken Loans, is NAHREP’s marquee event, where top-producing real estate professionals, industry experts, and corporate executives convene for four days of education, networking, and entertainment. This year’s headliners include bestselling author and leadership expert John C. Maxwell, and philanthropist and entrepreneur Chef José Andrés. The convention combines business sessions led by the nation’s top real estate practitioners and experts, with cultural elements showcasing Latino music, dance, and cuisine. At the convention, a jam-packed expo hall features scores of the housing industry’s top companies showcasing innovative products and services.
In addition, the 2018 National Convention will convene alongside the launch of L’ATTITUDE, a historic business, media, and leadership symposium celebrating the unique impact of U.S. Latinos on the New Mainstream Economy. The brainchild of Former US West CEO Sol Trujillo and NAHREP CEO & Co-Founder Gary Acosta, L’ATTITUDE features a packed slate of panel discussions and interactive dialogue focusing on the extraordinary role America’s nearly 59 million Latinos play in driving U.S. population growth, entrepreneurship, income and so much more. L’ATTITUDE sessions feature speakers such as filmmaker Robert Rodriguez, actor and entrepreneur Zoe Saldana, singer-songwriter Luis Fonsi, Major League Baseball superstar and entrepreneur Alex Rodriguez, Wells Fargo CEO Tim Sloan, United CEO Oscar Munoz, Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, as well as a full slate of media personalities, Fortune 500 executives and celebrities. The global music sensation singer-songwriter Nicky Jam will also perform at the event.
