2017 NAHREP Housing Policy & Hispanic Lending Conference
NAHREP hit Washington D.C. March 27-29 for the annual Housing Policy & Hispanic Lending Conference where driven industry professionals, top government officials, and high ranking housing and real estate executives took part in three days of education, insight, and advocacy. With more than 700 registered guests, this year was the best attended policy conference ever.
This year’s conference began with a keynote address from Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson in one of his first housing events since being confirmed earlier that month. Other notable speakers include Congresswoman Maxine Waters and Congressman Tony Cárdenas.
The conference concluded with a day on Capitol Hill where NAHREP members participated in almost one hundred meetings with representatives to share the State of Hispanic Homeownership Report and 2017 Policy Positions through hands on advocacy.
