NAHREP hit Washington D.C. on February 26-28 for the annual Housing Policy & Hispanic Lending Conference where driven industry professionals, top government officials, and high ranking housing and real estate executives took part in three days of education, insight, and advocacy. With approximately 800 registered guests, this year was the best attended policy conference ever.
This year’s conference began with a keynote address from Senator Marco Rubio and featured other notable speakers including Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, Senator Cory Gardner, and HUD Deputy Secretary Pamela Patenaude.
The conference concluded with a day on Capitol Hill where NAHREP members participated in meetings with representatives to share the State of Hispanic Homeownership Report and 2018 Policy Positions through hands on advocacy.
