On March 7th NAHREP leadership attended the Latino Donor Collaborative (LDC) 17th Annual Convening. At each Convening, the Latino Donor Collaborative hosts private high-level conversations with the most senior executives in business and media about the economic power of Latinos. The event is one of the key drivers in the dissemination of research about that Latino market.
Surprising as it is, many CEOs know very little about the economic value of Latinos and their significance to commercial industry. The data is clear: Latinos are a major economic engine for the United States. Reportedly, Steve Forbes was the exception and was very well-informed. This event is part of an important movement to creating new narratives about Latinos, with Latinos in control.
