The NAHREP Top 250 award’s 8th year of recognitions is off to a strong start according to NAHREP Research & Marketing Analyst Christa Murillo. The award with nominations “through the roof,” recognizes mortgage origination teams for the first time this year, after recognizing agent teams for the first time in 2018.
“The growth of the nomination pool shows that the award itself has become prestigious and recognizable in the broader marketplace,” noted NAHREP Co-Founder & CEO Gary Acosta. “It’s also an indicator that Latino practitioners are achieving greater production and a higher level of success than before.”
The 2019 Top 250 award received 65% more nominations this year than last year, totaling at over 2,000 applicants. In 2018, the Top 250 Real Estate Agents represented a combined total of 15,594 units in closed transaction sides from January 2017 through December 2017 and over $3.69 billion in total aggregate volume. The 2018 Top 250 Mortgage Originators represented a total of 29,338 closed mortgages and $7.39 billion in mortgage sales.
