In early February, NAHREP announced that for the second year in a row, Hispanics were the only ethnic demographic with an increase to their homeownership rate. On February 2, SoCal IE Chapter held it’s 2017 Installation Gala and welcomed in Oscar Guerra as the 2017 Chapter President. Hispanic Wealth Project chairman Jerry Ascencio spoke at the event galvanizing attendees around the association’s mission of sustainable Hispanic homeownership.
NAHREP Tampa welcomed in the 2017 Tampa Board of Directors at an installation dinner on February 2. Hispanic Woman of the Year as recognized by the City of Tampa, Patsy Sanchez, delivered a special keynote address to attendees.
On February 8, NAHREP Salt Lake City held the Gaining and Maintaining Wealth event featuring business growth strategist Levi McPherson and top broker Marshall Carrasco. The event touched on the NAHREP 10 disciplines to success.
NAHREP Phoenix held an educational event, Drive to Success, on February 16 for members and supporters of the chapter. The event featured a course on contract law as well as a session with motivational speaker and trainer, Tracy Bullock.
