The Hispanic Wealth Project™(HWP) in partnership with the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals® (NAHREP®) released the 2017 Hispanic Wealth Project Annual Report at the annual HWP Symposium in La Jolla, CA.
While Hispanics continue to experience the most significant household income gains in comparison to other population groups, their under-participation in non-cash financial assets at any income level persists.
The Hispanic Wealth Project Symposium took place May 23, 2017 bringing together stakeholders from across the housing industry to discuss solutions and share commitments to achieve the project’s overall goal of tripling median Hispanic household wealth by 2024.
Hispanics are driving small business growth throughout the U.S. but still face unique challenges in growing their businesses. When asked, Hispanic entrepreneurs site business education and mentorship as an ongoing need to further develop their firms.
While college enrollment for Hispanics is on the rise, many of these students will rely on student loans to finance their education and will graduate with substantial student loan debt.
