The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP®) Congratulates Priscilla Almodovar on Her Appointment as CEO of Fannie Mae
SAN DIEGO—September 30, 2022— The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP®) congratulates Priscilla Almodovar on her appointment by Fannie Mae (FNMA/OTCQB) as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Ms. Almodovar has spent her career serving the housing industry by advancing equitable and sustainable access to homeownership and quality affordable housing across America. She is one of only a handful of Latinas ever to lead a Fortune 500 company. Her appointment comes on the heels of a report from the Urban Institute that predicts that 70% of homeownership gains over the next 20 years will come from Latino homebuyers. Homeownership is the gateway to the middle class in America, and Fannie Mae is a primary engine for the housing finance industry. NAHREP looks forward to working with Ms. Almodovar and her team at Fannie Mae to expand opportunity and break down barriers to homeownership for more Americans.
